Privacy

This site is run by Dazell Young (Outside the Fink). This notice explains what details are collected, why, and what you can ask for.

What's collected

• Newsletter and free chapter: your first name (optional) and email address, to send you Chapter 1 and the weekly email.
• Questions: what you write, plus your name and email if you give them, to read your question and reply if you asked for one.
• Visits: anonymous visit counts with no cookies and no tracking across sites.

Why

The newsletter is sent because you asked for it (your consent), and you can withdraw that at any time by unsubscribing. Questions are kept so they can be read, answered and turned into articles, lessons and videos, without ever naming you unless you agree.

Who handles it

Newsletter sign-ups and emails are handled by Kit. Questions are stored in Google Forms and Google Sheets. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Your details are never sold or shared for marketing.

How long it's kept

Newsletter details until you unsubscribe (every email has a link). Questions for up to 12 months, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing hello@outsidethefink.co.uk. If you're unhappy with the answer you can complain to the data protection regulator where you live (in the UK, the ICO).
